HOW TO JOIN INGLETON AVENUE SURGERY
Pre-Register Online
JULY 2023 - Our practice boundary has now changed. To register at Ingleton Avenue Surgery, please contact Reception to find out whether you are in our catchment area. The Practice does not particpate in the Out-of-area registration scheme and cannot register patients who live outside of the Practice boundary. Similarly, patients moving out of our catchment area will be informed and given 28 days notice to register with another GP closer to their new address. Information on GP services in your area can be obtained from the NHS Choices website.
You can register online via https://gp-registration.nhs.uk/G83024/gpregistration/landing. Please note that completing a registration this way does not guarantee that you will be accepted on to the Practice list as we are a small surgery with limited capacity and a small practice boundary. Any applications outside of our Practice boundary will be automatically rejected. You are advised to contact the practice for advice on registration in the first instance.
Once you have had a health check with one of our nurses/healthcare assistants, we can give you the details necessary to use our online facilities Patient Services
Disabled Patient Facilities
Although the practice is located in a tall building we have a ramped access round the back of the building and ground floor consulting room and toilet facilities. The parking at the practice is normally reserved for the doctors, but if you need to arrive in your car, please let the reception know well in advance of your appointment and we can ensure a parking space is reserved for you for the time of your appointment.

They cover issues such as the role of GPs, their function as gatekeepers to the health services, how to register and how to access emergency services.
Special care has been taken to ensure that information is given in clear language, and the content and style has been tested with user groups.
